A child is conceived out of wedlock. Does this child inherit in the father's estate?
Answer
A child conceived out of wedlock is illegitimate. He/she does not inherit in the estate of the biological father. The lineage is with the mother, never with the father who is not the legal father in terms of the Shariah. Inheritance ties are only with the mother.
