Question
How should a newly converted person perform Salaat when he is unable to recite the Surahs, Tashahhud, etc.?
Answer
The convert will be able to say at least: 'Allaahu Akbar' and 'Subhaanallaah'. He should recite Takbeer Tahrimah, the Takbeer to change postures, and in every posture recite: Subhaanallaah, a few times, at least thrice. But it remains Waajib for him to learn as quick as possible.
