Question
After slaughtering a chicken, the person left to wash his knife and put it away. Then he noticed that he had cut only two veins instead of the three necessary veins. Then he cut the other vein as well. Is the chicken halaal?
Answer
If he returned and cut the vein without having again recited Tasmiyah, then the animal is haraam. If he had recited Tasmiyah, then the slaughter was valid.
