Does Qur'aan recitation benefit the deceased? Can the reward also be for those who are still living, e.g. for my parents?
Answer
The Qur'aan benefits the deceased much. The deceased look forward for the reward of Qur'aan Tilaawat. It is also permissible for relatives who are still alive.
