My students are performing Taraweeh in one of the Musallahs of Our Town. They were taught to make silent dua. After Taraweeh, one of the elderly Musallis of the Musallah tells them that they should make loud dua as they have a mixed congregation. What were they supposed to have done?
Answer
They were supposed to have ignored what the elderly musalli advised. If they had complied, then it indicates their Imaani deficiency. If they had been pressurized to practice bid‟ah, they should have refused and rather abandon being the imams.
